As an undergraduate tutor in Chemistry I spent my junior and senior years working as a peer tutor for students taking Math, Chemistry, and Biology. And then, as a graduate student I was the teaching assistant for General Chemistry. My duties included prepping and supervising labs, but I also was responsible for helping the students write acceptable lab reports. I kept office hours to help students with homework and lab reports and then I graded homework and lab reports for the students. All of that adds up to me knowing General Chemistry cold. Finally, during my last two years of graduate studies I was an adjunct Math teacher and taught courses from Introductory Algebra up to College Algebra.
